How much do I need?

Estimate based on typical dry sand density (approx. 1.6 tonnes per m³).
Rule of thumb: approx. 1 tonne of building sand per 1,000 bricks (4:1 sand-to-cement mix), plus 10% for wastage. Cement is not included.
Approx. 2.5–6 m² per 20 kg bag depending on joint width and paver size.
Based on approx. 25 bricks per 20 kg bag, plus 10% for wastage.
Compacted estimate based on approx. 2.2 tonnes per m³. Deep holes should be filled in layers.
Tip: seal sand in inner bags before filling to prevent leaks and dust.

Is delivery really free?
Yes. Every order is delivered free anywhere in the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland — whether you buy one bag or ten.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to addresses across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We don’t currently ship outside the UK.
How are the products packed?
Most products come in easy-to-handle 20 kg bags. Punch Bag Filling Sand is also available in 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg bags.
